Aimy Sitemap v30.1 - What's new?

Aimy Sitemap v30.1 comes with a workaround for Bing notifications and some performance optimizations.

Workaround for Bing Notifications

At the end of December 2021 the official API used to send sitemap ping notifications stopped working (“HTTP 410 Gone") without prior notice. We changed Aimy Sitemap’s code to use the old notification API instead which appears to be still intact.

Performance Optimizations

We improved the performance of some frequently used parts of Aimy Sitemap’s code so crawling a website should now be a bit faster.
